eBizAutos recently made significant on-site SEO improvements to our Dealer Websites to inherently improve the SEO value across all our websites. The following were updated and we expect to see a significant increase in SEO traffic and website ranking. We made updates to:
- Static URLS for New and Used Inventory pages
- Dedicated Page Titles on New and Used Static Inventory pages
- Sitemap improvements for better indexing of vehicle detail pages
What is the benefit to these Static URLs? When shoppers already know what vehicle they are looking for, but they haven’t found the one they want to purchase yet, they often conduct long tail keyword searches. (i.e. New/Used Make Model City Name) Users making this type of search are usually looking for a specific vehicle that is for sale, and are ready to find a retailer or are comparing prices.
Our goal with these SEO Updates is to increase our Dealers’ website ranking in these type of searches, and ultimately bring shoppers directly to vehicle galleries listing the vehicle they are shopping for. Users who are able to quickly find the specific vehicle they want are much more likely to convert into a lead than those who have to conduct another inventory search on the Dealer’s site.
Ranking for these long tail keyword searches should provide individual Dealer Websites with high-converting website traffic, including users who are looking for specific vehicles that the Dealer has in stock. Over the next few months, we will be monitoring the effects of these SEO changes and will publish the results once these changes have been established long enough to measure their efficacy.
